how i met with an accident although a small one

its been a first time in the history of my blogging experience that i am writing a blog in a train . as festive season is around so i am on my to home for diwali celeberations. before coming to that i want to complete the last blog which i left in midway .

it started as one of my friend called me up to plan for the vaishno mata. by now you all (those who have been following me) must be knowing that it's hard for me these days to leave for any vacation. since it was vaoshno mata i could not resist myself as i have been going there for last five consecutive years. i didn't want to break the chain. i took a leave making an excuse in the office . i was supposed to reach a junction "ludhiana " by 8 pm to meet other friends.

as i was already getting late to reach the venue, i rode my activa from office to home (5km) at a speed of more than 60 to meet the target(though 60 is not that high speed but definitely its risky in case of bathinda because the its people non driving sense and rush on the roads). And thats how it happened. i was just 50 m away from my room and suddenly a dog came in my way. within seconds i found myself lying on the ground after a loud sound "dhaaaaaaadaaaaaam...." . the sound was hard to resist for other people on the road.

the accident was minor, nothing much happened except a minor scratch on the knees and elbows but i gathered up myself and some fellow stopped to pick up me. i tried starting my activa again and without much ado, it made me reach my home. i did not even bother to look back to check if everything is ok with the vehicle but headed towards my room, changed clothes and packed some. without wasting a minute in bandaging my scratches i left the room and reached the bus stop. i could feel the pain in my left foot. as soon as i boarded a bus and settled down, the pain increased. somehow i managed to reach ludhiana by 10 pm.

by now, i decided to quit and asked my friends to move ahead as i thought i would not be able to walk around 25 km in vaishno devi hills. but they encouraged me and bought me one ointment to relieve the pain. we, three, boarded a bus to katra. and rest as they say is history....
