Isser Aaye, Dalider Jaye..

Before starting with the proceedings of the blog, let me wish you all a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year 2015. May this year, all your wishes get fulfilled.

Everything which starts, comes to an end. Every day is not the same. Similarly, time keeps on changing. So, What I am trying to convey here is that nothing is permanent in life. Which day else could be better to narrate the above mentioned theme than the festival of Punjab " Lohri". It in itself stands for the purity of hearts and bids goodbye to the bad emotions. So I also take this auspicious opportunity to take a new year pledge that I would not allow my fears to overcome my happiness. Whatever the situation may be, I will try to keep it calm rather than getting irritated, frustrated and annoyed. Because bad time is not pertinent and will definitely be overcome by good time sooner or later.

Lets rewind the year 2014 for the last time before bidding adieu.

Year 2014 started on a very spiritual note by offering my prayers at Mata Chintpurni on the very first day of 2014. In February, I got transferred back to Bathinda from Zira and in the same month my probation period got cleared. So the Goddess had already started showering her blessings on me. Year 2014 has also been very special as I met another friend named Pankaj who has been a true companion throughout the year. In April, I got an opportunity to pay a visit to Salasar Dham who has been a continuous support to our family for last many years.

The month of May came along with MP elections in the state. Being in the city which is considered to be the center of the state politics, there was huge pressure during the whole month until the results were announced in the favor of Akalis declaring Smt Harsimrat Kaur Badal as MP for the second consecutive term from Bathinda Seat. As soon as I got rid of the election pressure, I had some arguments with Lovely which made my june worse as never before.Things got normal as we had reached some consensus. Following which again we visited the Amarnath Shrine july last year. In August, we started constructing our home back at Budhlada from scratch. It is still in progress. During these months, i had been practicing regular exercise and running which results in reducing my weight from 80 to 64 kg.

By September, I was back in shape which had gone terribly wrong due to overeating fast food in early 2014. With my new personality, i had clicked some beautiful pictures in the festive season. Thanks to Pankaj, who had been a true friend throughout the year until I got transferred to Amritsar in November. This time, along with transfer, i had been given the charge of executive engineer which was a great news for my family. At the same time, my colleagues were not so happy considering i had been given the charge of XEN even before completing my 3 years of service. But as they, God plans everything and nobody dares to challenge. As soon as i got transferred, i got a chance to thank Goddess Vaishno Mata for her kindness. I have been a regular visitor to the shrine for last 6-7 years but could not visit in 2013. So this time excitement was inevitable considering my promotion. December was spent in cold waves of Amritsar enjoying the various tastes of the holy city. The Year ended where it had started. I feel privileged that Mata Chintpurni gave me another chance to visit the holy shrine on the last day of the year also.

The year ended on a beautiful note; So this blog should also.
